From 7,264 kilometers to "I Do."

Anabelle grew up between Goa and Dubai, while Tim was born and raised in the Netherlands.

Fate had a funny way of bringing them together. After a persistent ask and a “no” that eventually turned into a “yes,”  their first date became a hilarious adventure through The Hague, hopping from terrace to restaurant in search of a place that served both food and drinks.

​

Somewhere between the walking, laughing, and mild chaos, they discovered something unexpected, a connection that made every detour worth it.

How it Began

By March 2, 2022, they chose each other.

 

What began as curiosity quickly turned into something deeper, built on music, long conversations, creativity, and a shared love for adventure.

The Proposal

On July 31, 2025, during a trip to the Cévennes in France, Tim led Anabelle on what she thought was just another beautiful hike.

 

At a stunning waterfall, surrounded by nature and the quiet rush of water, he asked the question that would change everything.

 

Anabelle, of course, said yes.
